What to check in this category

Hoodies and knit sweaters swing a lot in weight and cut from one listing to the next, and the same design is often sold by several sellers at different prices. Read the listing carefully rather than trusting the thumbnail.

• Match the photos against the seller’s own measurements, not the S/M/L label, which is not standardised.
• Look for fabric weight or composition in the text — many hoodie listings leave it out, and it cannot be assumed from a photo.
• Check that the colour looks consistent across every photo; listing images are often shot under different lighting.
